MaSU organizes food drive for students

The MaSU Staff Senate organized a food drive to help students who stayed in Mayville during spring break. The campus cafeteria was closed during this time and with spring semester winding down, students’ financial aid funds are dwindling. Employees stepped up in a big way and many care packages of food were distributed to students.


MaSU hosts Fulbright Scholar

The MaSU Division of Education hosted Dr. Taina Maarit Wewer March 26-29, courtesy of the Fulbright Outreach Lecturing Fund. Wewer is a teacher trainer and teacher in bilingual instruction and English as a Foreign Language in the Teacher Training School of Turku University, Finland. She worked with the 2016 reform of the National Core Curriculum for Basic Education.


MaSU Collegiate DECA chapter does well at Career Development Conference

MaSU’s Collegiate DECA chapter made a strong impact at this year’s North Dakota Collegiate DECA Career Development Conference. Fourteen of 20 MaSU students qualified for the international competition that will take place in Anaheim, Clalif. The chapter was recognized with the Community Service Award and two additional individual awards were also received.
