NDSU student named North Dakota Student Nurse of the Year
Carlee Fleck, a senior in the NDSU School of Nursing at Sanford Health in Bismarck, was named the North Dakota Student Nurse of the Year by the Nursing Student Association of North Dakota. She plans to pursue a registered nurse position in Bismarck when she graduates.
Nursing, pharmacy graduate programs listed among nation’s top schools
Graduate programs at NDSU’s School of Nursing and School of Pharmacy were named among the nation’s top programs in a ranking released by U.S. News and World Report. The doctor of nursing practice program was ranked 38th out of 186 schools, and the doctor of pharmacy program was ranked 66th out of 125 schools.
NDSU doctoral student receives prestigious national fellowship
Rachel Salter, a doctoral student in biological sciences, was selected for a National Science Foundation fellowship. The award, which includes financial support and professional development, recognizes outstanding graduate students who are anticipated to make significant contributions to research and teaching in science and engineering. Darcy Corbitt-Hall, a doctoral student in psychology, received honorable mention.
