NDSCS Dedicates William F. Rothwell Center for Science

The area used for science education at NDSCS has been named in honor of NDSCS alumnus William F. (Bill) Rothwell. It features new computers and software in its chemistry lab, and new equipment and curriculum to teach anatomy. More than 200 students will take classes at the NDSCS William F. Rothwell Center for Science each year.


NDSCS Electrical Technology Department Celebrates 95 Years

The NDSCS Electrical Technology Department celebrated its 95-year history during the College’s Homecoming week. NDSCS Electrical Technology classes began in 1923, and the program continues to be designed to give students the skills necessary for successful employment in the electrical industry.


NDSCS OTA Program Hosts CarFit Event

The NDSCS Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) program hosted a CarFit event on the NDSCS campus in October. CarFit is a national program developed by AAA, AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association, and is designed to give a quick, yet comprehensive check on how well an older driver and their vehicle work together.
