Dina Zavala-Petherbridge participates in “Women in Education Leadership” program at Harvard
Dr. Dina Zavala-Petherbridge, director of the MaSU Office of Diversity and Inclusion, recently took part in a leadership program at Harvard Graduate School of Education. The program included about 84 female education leaders from around the world and facilitated self-reflection and peer networking, with focus on strategic thinking, advanced leadership, effective negotiation, and communication techniques.
MaSU faculty, staff, and students collaborate with Voices of the Valley
MaSU faculty, staff, and students have collaborated with Voices of the Valley, a local community nonprofit social justice writing project, since it began in 2013. They have produced published essays, edited the collection, and presented their work at the University of North Dakota Writers Conference.
MaSU Comets win NSAA championship, advance to national tournament
The MaSU men’s basketball team defeated Bellevue to win the North Star Athletic Association conference championship in February, which punched their ticket to the national tournament in Sioux Falls, S.D.
